A couple of days ago I posted to Instagram a photo of these rockin’ new shoes that just came in the mail. (Wait. You’re not following me on Instagram? But then how will you know what I ate for dinner last night!?!?) One of my favorite bloggers quite sensibly described them as the perfect playground shoe and I couldn’t agree more – they’re super-comfy, pair nicely with jeans, and are high enough that I lose ten pounds when I put them on, which I think we can all agree is the real point of heels regardless of when you’re wearing them.

However, not everyone agrees. One sister, for example, seems to think these are more appropriate for a night on the town than a sojourn to le parque (and has been mocking me mercilessly, I’d like to note). I say, let the readers decide! What do you think? Getting down and dirty in the sand (and obviously making friends with all the other moms because they’ll want to know where I got my shoes) or only good for heading out for the evening?  And not to sway you or anything, but, oh my Gawd, how cute would they look with this sweater at the park?
